WHAT IS AOWA?

The Alabama Onsite Wastewater Association (AOWA) is a non-profit trade association representing septic tank manufacturers, installers, pumpers, portable restroom operators and others in the onsite wastewater industry.
 

PROMOTING PROFESSIONALISM IN THE INDUSTRY

The AOWA promotes professionalism, good business practics, and offers information on technological advances in the industry through quarterly magazines, continuing education and licensing programs, and speakers at AOWA quarterly membership meetings held throughout Alabama.
 

MISSION STATEMENT
 

To maintain a representative group of businesses inthe septic tank and onsite wastewater industry for the purpose of exchange and dissemination of trade information; to improve the quality of all producers, installations, and services in the industry; to educate, provide training, and promote high standards for businesses involved in the industry; to furshing informaiton to and cooperate with public health authorities; and to meet with publice groups and individuals concerned with onsite wastewater system installation, maintenance, products and regulations.
