Increasing Professionalism in the Onsite Wastewater Industry
AOWA was instrumental in the passage of a law establishing a license board for the septic tank and onsite wastewater industry in Alabama. The Alabama Onsite Wastewater Board now requires every business involved in septic tank manufacturing, installation, pumping, portable restrooms operators, servicing or repairing in Alabama to have a least one person in a supervisory position who is trained, tested and licensed by the license board.
